🔁 Return & Exchange Policy

At Home of Saudade, every piece is printed one at a time, only after you order it.
We keep no stock, nothing is made in vain.
And if something arrives wrong, we fix it.

How it works: email support@homeofsaudade.com with your order number and clear photos of the item, the print and the shipping label. You don't need to send anything back, the photos are usually enough.

The replacement ships on us, with a new tracking number.

Damaged in transit? Tell us within 14 days of delivery, ideally within 48 hours.

That window is what lets us claim with the carrier. If you only notice later, a gift that stayed wrapped until the birthday... write to us anyway. We look at every case.

A defect is any clear production or finishing fault that affects how the piece looks or lasts: print significantly off-centre or cut off, cracked or smudged ink, a seam or fabric flaw, the wrong artwork.

Not defects: small variations in print placement that don't affect the overall look, slight colour differences between screen and fabric or between batches, and a garment measurement tolerance of ±2 cm. Screens are backlit and calibrated differently — colours on your phone will never be an exact match for dyed cotton.

Because each product is personalised and made only for you, we cannot
accept returns for change of mind, as provided for in article 17(c) of
Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014, which transposes article 16(c) of Directive
2011/83/EU.

This does not affect your rights in case of defect: if a piece arrives
faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, it is always covered (see above).

Personalised pieces: anything printed with a name, date or image you supplied — can't be returned for change of mind, since they can't be sold to anyone else. Defects are always covered.

Write to support@homeofsaudade.com with your order number and we'll send you the return address. Return shipping is on you unless the item was defective or we sent the wrong thing, then it's on us.

The numbers in our size guide are the measurements of the garment, not of your body. Before ordering, measure a piece you already wear and love, lay it flat, and compare. If you're between sizes or unsure, ask us. We'd rather answer an email than send you a size that doesn't fit.

You can change or cancel your order within 1 hours of purchase. After that it enters production and we usually can't stop it, but write to us straight away and we'll do what we can.

Once a parcel leaves with an incorrect address, we can't recover it.

Once your return or claim is approved, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 3 to 10 business days. Depending on your bank, it can take a few more days to appear on your statement.

All our products are covered by the 3-year legal guarantee of conformity under Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021). The guarantee does not cover normal wear, misuse or damage after delivery.

If we can't resolve a dispute between us, you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body (Lei n.º 144/2015).
